Advanced 5-in-1 Home Office Printer with Ethernet Connectivity.
This networkable 5-in-1 is all business, able to quickly produce beautiful photos and bold, professional-quality text. You can print photos right from compatible memory cards1 - selecting and enhancing images on the 1.8″ color LCD display - or directly from a digital camera or DV camcorder. The Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) holds up to 30 originals, and two paper trays can store both plain and photo paper. You’ll achieve up to Super G3 fax2 speed in color and B&W, and the expanded memory can store 40 speed dial codes and receive 100 incoming pages.3 Copies will be remarkably true to the originals, and when scanning photos you’ll produce impressive 2400-dpi results, with vibrant 48-bit color depth.

Nice AIO. Prints fast. Scans pretty quick. yet to try it on ethernet or fax. Scanned a 5×7 and reprinted on photo paper if it wasn’t for some slight lines in the dark areas would not be able to tell original from the copy. It may be that the printer has not made too many prints yet. First jump to canon and so far impressed. Will update when other options are tried. Does anyone know if this one is capable of printing on dvds with the five easy steps ? If so I’ll have the perfect printer.

I don’t think the MX series supports cd printing at all, it’s intended to be an office printer.

Also the slight lines in the 5×7 photo may be caused by printing from the bottom cassette, try printing from the top feeder it doesn’t need to bend the photo as much going in.
