WARNING: The Windows registry is a dark and scary place only smart people should go, if your a noob you should just uninstall and reinstall the driver.
Don’t want to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver, you have the option to simply change this reg key:
1. Start > Run > regedit > OK
2. Search for: CnmFSI_CDRSWITCH
3. Change it from 0 to 1
4. Close regedit.
5. The cd-r tray letter should now show in your printer properties.
Note1: Changing registry entries is for advanced users.
Note2: You still need to make the changes to the printer firmware, this reg key alone will not enable cd print feature.
